 How long do fillers last?

Fillers typically last anywhere from 6 to 12 months depending on the product and varying factors such as the patient’s individual metabolism.

How should I prepare for my visit?
  • Before your procedure, ensure a good breakfast, including food and drink. This will decrease the chances of lightheadedness during your treatment.
  • You may start taking arnica two days prior to your visit to help with swelling. 
  • The best way to prepare is to avoid any medications that exacerbate bruising.
What are things I should do post treatment?
  • Avoid significant movement or massage of the treated area. Unless instructed by the provider.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
  • Avoid extensive sun or heat for 72 hours.
  • Use Tylenol for discomfort.
  • Try to sleep face up and slightly elevated if you experience swelling.
  • Take Arnica to help the bruising and swelling.

At Ella Ora, we use the biostimulator Sculptra. Biostimulators are injectable treatments that stimulate the body to produce collagen, resulting in volume restoration and skin rejuvenation.
